Robert "Bob" Coomer, Jr.

Robert “Bob” Coomer, Jr., 62, of Littlestown, PA died peacefully on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at his sister’s home in Taneytown.  Born December 20, 1955 in Harrisburg, PA, he was the son of Robert D. Coomer, Sr. and the late Laura Virginia (Sigafoose) Coomer.

Bob was a Warehouse Supervisor for K-Mart, retiring after 43 years of service.  He attended Pipe Creek Church of the Brethren near Union Bridge, MD.  He enjoyed going to horse races, fishing and collecting sports memorabilia.  Bob was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, the Philadelphia Phillies and NASCAR.

Surviving are his children, son Andrew Coomer of Tamaqua, PA, and daughter Angela Coomer of Harrisburg, PA; sister, Dawn Weller of Taneytown; and several nieces and nephews.   He was predeceased by a sister, Annette Williams.

A memorial service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Pipe Creek Church of the Brethren, 26 Pipe Creek Rd., Union Bridge, MD with Pastor Steve Lowe officiating.  Arrangements have been entrusted to MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME in Taneytown.
