Robert Lee “Gump” Chronister, Jr. age 36 of Frizzellburg, died suddenly Wednesday March 11, 2009 at his home. He was born September 12, 1972 in Baltimore son of Robert L, Sr. and Peggy Crebs Chronister of Frizzellburg. He was a 1991 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School. Gump loved fishing, hanging out with his friends, and ridding his moped. He loved farming with his Dad and helping tend farm animals.
Surviving in addition to his parents are sister, Anita “Michelle” Hardman of Hanover, PA, brother and sister-in-law, Robbie A. and Stacey Chronister of Walkersville, MD; niece, Kayla Hardman.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday March 14th at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore Street, Taneytown with Pastor Andrew Reisberg of Frizzellburg Bible Church officiating. Interment will follow in Barts United Methodist Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
The family will receive friends Friday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
