Richard M. Ibex, Sr. formerly of Westminster died Monday December 6, 2010 at his home in Rock Hill, S.C. He was born May 14, 1934 in Westminster the son of the late Robert and Elizabeth Groft Ibex. He was the husband of Anna Knupp Ibex of Rock Hill, S.C. He was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce and worked as a truck driver.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Sherri Baker and Richard M. Ibex, Jr. both of Rock Hill, S.C., sister, Mary Margaret Cotterell of Hope Mills, NC; also survived by three grandchildren.
He was predeceased by siblings, A. Thomas Ibex, Robert Ibex, Jr. and Jane Devilbiss.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 1:00 P.M. in Westminster Cemetery.
