Regina Louise Foreman, 81, of Keymar, Maryland died peacefully Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Colonial Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in York, PA. Born December 31, 1931 in Taneytown, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ethel Clingan Mort. She was the wife of the late Carroll J. Foreman who died in 1975.
Regina worked for 20 years at Taneytown Cleaners and at various other local businesses throughout the years. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Taneytown. She was a country music fan and especially enjoyed the music of Allen Brown. She also enjoyed dancing, spending time with family and friends, and attending Christmas services at Eyler’s Valley Chapel near Thurmont.
Surviving are son, Carroll Foreman and wife Barbara of Dover, PA; brothers, John Mort of Hanover, PA, and Robert Mort of Cookeville, TN; sister, Marion Jean Mort of California; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, Kenneth Mort.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 21 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St, Taneytown, MD with the Rev. Steven Ostendorf officiating. Inurnment will follow at Grace U.C.C. Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
