Raymond Earl Kirkendall, Sr., age 79, of Timber Ridge Senior Living in Westminster, Maryland, died on Friday, May 13, 2011 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.
Born July 19, 1931 in Baltimore, Maryland he was the son of the late William A. and Dorothy E. Kirkendall. He was predeceased by his former spouse, Ruth E. Kirkendall in 1995.
He was a dairy farmer for many years and later a painter at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
Surviving are children, Victoria L. Szczepanski and Barbara J. Hess both of Street, MD, Patricia G. Parks and Ray E. Kirkendall, Jr. both of Finksburg; grandchildren, April, Samantha, Bryan, Nicole, Holly, Raymond III, and Jessy Parks; great-grandchildren, Callie and Alexis.
A Memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM, on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster, with Rev. Kevin C. Clementson officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
