Ray Emerson Fair, age 83 of Taneytown died peacefully Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, MD.
Born September 4, 1928 in Taneytown, he was the son of the late Edgar and Grace Copenhaver Fair. He was the husband of Shirley Tawney Fair.
He worked 25 years for Westinghouse Corporation manufacturing various items for the United States Department of Defense. He enjoyed yard work, watching television game shows, spending time with family and his cat, Ebby.
Surviving in addition to his wife are daughter, Dawn Lee Brown and husband, Terry, of Fairfield, PA and sister, Arlene Fair of Taneytown. He was predeceased by a sister, Joan Ecker.
