Randy Warehime, Sr.

January 26, 1953 — December 9, 2021

Finksburg

Randy Ray Warehime, Sr., 68, of Finksburg, MD, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at his home.  Born January 26, 1953 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Robert Warehime, Sr. and the late Dorothy (Brown) Warehime.  He was the husband of Kimberly (Powell) Warehime, to whom he was married for 27 years.

Randy was a graduate of Westminster High School, class of ’71.  His was the last class to graduate from the old Westminster High School, now East Middle School.  He was a construction foreman for Kibler Construction in Finksburg. Randy was a member of Clearfield Bible Church, where he served as deacon.  He loved farm life, tractors, chickens, growing flowers, vegetable gardening, quiet time near the stream in the meadow, and sitting on the front porch drinking coffee during thunderstorms.  He was a devoted husband and father who loved spending time with his family.

Surviving, in addition to his beloved wife Kim, are his sons, Randy Ray Warehime, Jr. and girlfriend Kylie Newburn, and Matthew Bryan Warehime and girlfriend Jada Burnham; mother-in-law, Charlotte Powell of Taneytown; brother, Robert Charles Warehime, Jr. and wife Shelby of Finksburg; sister, Susan Warehime Showalter of South Carolina; brothers-in law, Clay Powell and wife Kristina of North Carolina, and Jeff Powell and wife Donna of Taneytown; sister-in-law, Michelle Powell Hayes and husband Mike of Tennessee; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was predeceased by brothers-in-law, Richard Showalter, Bryan Powell, and Steve Haugh; and sister-in-law, Leland Powell Haugh.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 8 , 2022 at Clearfield Bible Church, 1303 Old Westminster Pike, Westminster, MD 21157, with Pastor Ray Newman officiating.  Burial at Sandy Mount U.M. Cemetery was private.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Randy’s name may be made to Clearfield Bible Church at the above address.
