Ralph Edward Staub, Sr.74, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022 in Hanover Pa. Born November 21, 1947 in Gettysburg, PA, he was the son of the late Clayton and Ruth (Reaver) Staub. He was the loving husband to Roxann Lee Staub, his wife of 42 years.
Ralph worked for Coca Cola retiring after 43 years. He was a long time member of Taneytown Volunteer Fire Department, Taneytown Volunteer Fire Police and The American Legion.
Besides his wife, Ralph is survived by his son, Ralph Edward Staub, Jr. of New Windsor; sisters, Roseanna Lescalleet of Keymar and Rhoda Cain of Taneytown; brothers, Robert Staub of Emmitsburg and Mervin Staub of Taneytown; mother-in-law, Virginia Long of New Windsor; father-in-law, Ronald Long of North Bend PA; sister-in-law A. Sue Billings (Alan) of Taneytown; brother-in-law, James C. Long and many nieces and nephews.
Ralph was predeceased by his sisters, Emma Staub, Mary Colson, Evelyn Springer; brothers Raymond and Ernest Staub and brother-in-law, Stephen Long.
The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown with a service from the Taneytown Fire Department at 7 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2022 with Deacon Charles Barnhart, Jr. officiating. Casual dress in encouraged for visitation and funeral service. Interment will be at Grace United Church of Christ Cemetery 47 W. Baltimore St., Taneytown.
