Ralph Franklin Leedy

Ralph Franklin Leedy, 85, of Westminster passed away peacefully, Saturday, August 28, 2021, surrounded by his family at the Dove House in Westminster.

Born November 12, 1935 in Manchester, he was the son the late Lawrence Leedy and Nanny Belle Leedy, nee Grubb; beloved husband of Mary Jane Leedy, his wife of 64 years; loving father of Teresa McClanahan, Chris Arnold, Gina Frock, Dale Leedy, and William Stonesifer, Jr.; devoted grandfather of Heather Ash, Shannon McClanahan, Butch McClanahan, Billy Arnold, Jr., Joey Arnold, Charles “Snapper” McGraw, II, and Helen “Nicki” McGraw; cherished great grandfather of Tiffany and Izzy Parkhurst, Sophia Arnold, Charlie McGraw, and Alaya Chambers; also survived by his brother Marvin Leedy and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by Cloyd Leedy, Edna Turnbaugh, and Cecil Skarbelis.

Mr. Leedy worked for Acme and Highs and retired after 40 years of service and was a member of Littlestown Eagles Aires, 2226.

The family will receive friends 6 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 91 Willis Street, Westminster (21157) where a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. with pastor, the Rev. Mike Strine officiating.
