Philip Wayne Krom, 63, of Emmitsburg, MD, died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Gettysburg Hospital in Gettysburg, PA. Born on March 24, 1953 in Emmitsburg, MD, he was the son of the late John William and Mary (Smith) Krom.
He was the husband of Lisa Marie (Lingg) Krom.
Phil was a simple man who enjoyed the simple things in life, especially his wife, family, and friends.
Surviving him in addition to his wife are sons, Jason Krom and wife Sarah of Laurel, MD, and Scott Krom and companion Christine Glacken of Emmitsburg; step-children, Zane Craig of Harrisburg, PA, and Hailey Craig of Emmitsburg; grandchildren, Cora, Ryan, and Mary Krom; brothers, Paul Krom of Spring Mills, PA, and John Krom and wife Kathy of Lake View, VA; former spouse, Lisa Topper of Carroll Valley, PA.
He was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Christy Krom.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a Memorial Service at 11:30 a.m., on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg, MD.
