Peter Christopher Smith (Tofer), age 31, of Palm Coast, Florida, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 7, 2013. Born January 18, 1982 he was the son of Peter Joseph Smith of Emmitsburg, MD and Bonnie Carol (Gore) Boehm of Palm Coast, Florida. He was the stepson of Hans Boehm of Florida.
Christopher was an avid reader, loved music, and appreciated the experience of fine dining and culinary cuisine. He was a graduate of Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland where he earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Management in December 2005.
Surviving in addition to his parents are maternal grandfather and grandmother, Richard and Francis Gore of Emmitsburg; maternal grandmother, Cassie Andrew of Emmitsburg; and brothers, Nicholas and Nathan Smith of Palm Coast, FL.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 16 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 W. Main Street, Emmitsburg, MD. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 47 DePaul Street, Emmitsburg, MD with the Rev. Stephen Trzecieski, C.M. as celebrant.
