Baby boy, Peter Augustine Schwenkler, of Emmitsburg, Maryland was stillborn on Friday morning, March 30, 2012 at the Gettysburg Hospital.
He is survived by his loving parents, John Louis and Angela Marie Schwenkler; brothers, John Mary and Daniel Joseph Schwenkler; paternal grandparents, John Welday and Alice-Marie Schwenkler of Williamsburg, VA; maternal grandfather, Daniel Allen Smith of Centreville, VA; maternal great-grandparents, Martin Ignatius and Nancy Elizabeth Cook, of Fenwick Island, Del.; godparents, Ellen Legare and Joshua Hochschild. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Mary Catherine Smith.
A Mass of the Angels will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 2, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 47 DePaul St., Emmitsburg, MD, with the Rev. John J. Holliday, C.M. serving as celebrant. Burial will follow at New St. Joseph Cemetery in Emmitsburg.
