Pearl M. Peller, age 74 of Finksburg, died Wednesday September 19, 2012 at her home in Finksburg. She was born August 2, 1938 in Baltimore, daughter of the late Clarence W. Meekins, Sr. and Madolene M. Wood Meekins. She worked as a cashier for Giant Food for over 35 years.
She is survived by children Dr. Andrew G. Walther of Catonsville and Randle L. Walther of Las Vegas, NV; siblings, Brenda Selby and husband, Jimmy of Taneytown and brother, Clarence Meekins, Jr. of Manchester; also survived by granddaughter, Olivia Ruth Walther.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday September 24, 2012 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster with Rev. David Meador officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Marriottsville, MD.
The family will receive friends Monday 10:00 am until time of the service at the funeral home.
