Patricia Ann “Patty” Baker Baust, 60, of Spring Grove, PA, died suddenly on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in York, PA.
Born December 28, 1955 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of Lula “Frances” Jones Baker of Spring Grove and the late Stanley Baker, Jr. She was the wife of Danny Baust, to whom she was married for 41 years.
Patty was a Material Estimator for Material Distributors of Philadelphia, PA and also worked as a designer for AAI Corp for over 20 years. She loved flower gardening, cooking, volunteering and doing charitable work, including Mission trips to Mexico with the Lutheran Church. She also loved going to flea markets and bargain hunting. In 1999 she completed the Walt Disney Marathon in Orlando, Florida. She was always willing to help anyone without wanting anything in return. She had a beautiful smile and a sweet outgoing personality that would melt your heart.
Surviving her in addition to her mother and husband are children, Payne Baust and wife, Amy, of Dover, PA and Madison Baust and boyfriend, Justin Rupp, of Lancaster, PA; siblings, Charles Baker and wife, Kim, of Westminster, Robert Baker of Spring Grove, Brian Baker of Westminster and Charity Bennett and husband, Wayne, of Westminster; granddaughter, Farrah Mae Baust; and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 8th at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster, with Pastor Dan Biles officiating. Burial will follow in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM.
