Patricia Arlene Waggoner, 84, of Emmitsburg, MD died Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Gettysburg Hospital in Gettysburg, PA. Born May 30, 1931 in Claremont, NH, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Coburn and Louisa Goward. She was the wife of the late Frank Waggoner, who died in 2006.
Patricia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Emmitsburg. She enjoyed going to yard sales and thrift shops, collecting rings, and spending time with her family. She loved her cats, Dudley and Gracie.
Surviving are daughter, Arlene Kuykendall of Fairfield, PA; sisters, Annie Johnson of Salinas, CA, and Charlene McGovern of Middletown, RI; granddaughter, Noel Heward and boyfriend Paul Shultz of Bonneauville, PA; grandson, Jonathan Kuykendall; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Klayton, Benjamin, Layne, and Aiden; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, June.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg, MD, 21727, with the Rev. Dr. Colin Phillips officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
