Pamela J. (Kuykendall) Bentz, age 53, of Thurmont, Maryland, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at her home. Born October 25, 1960 in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Marjorie Ruth (Kuykendall) Musselman. She is survived by her devoted companion and friend of 38 years, Joe Miller.
Pam was a child care provider and baby sitter out of her home for many years. She was always helping others out with gifts of food and clothing. Pam’s main focus was her daughters and grand-babies.
In addition to her companion, Pam is survived by maternal grandmother, Marjorie V. Hilbert of Fredericktown, Ohio; daughters, Marjorie D. Kuykendall and fiancée Ronnie Topper of Emmitsburg, Brandi L. Miller of Emmitsburg, and Amber N. Younkins and husband Isaiah of Thurmont; grandchildren, Brenden (Ben) Snurr, Taylor and Brady Topper, McKaila Heims, Kylie, Paigen, and Mason Younkins; sister, Tamela Mitchell of Emmitsburg; brother, Shawn Musselman and wife Helen of Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2013 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg, MD with the Rev. John Talcott officiating. Interment will be private.
