Opal D. Overturf, age 84 of Westminster, died Sunday January 15, 2012 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. He was born April 16, 1927 in Buckner, Illinois, son of the late Willie and Flora Zella Smith Overturf. He was the husband of Sharon Ann Woods Ralston, his wife of 14 years.
Opal served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked as a mechanic for the U.S. Postal Service.
Services and interment will be private.
