Olive Agatha Jones, age 90, of Hampstead, Maryland, died on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at her home.
Born December 31, 1920 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Walter E. and Anna (Sacks) Glaze, Sr. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, George F. Jones in 2004.
She was retired after 27 years service as a cafeteria worker with the Baltimore County Public School System. Olive was a member of Greenmount United Methodist Church, and enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and taking care of her dog “Brandy”.
Surviving are son, Bryan Jones of Hampstead; granddaughters Lindsey Jones of Austin, Texas, and Kaitlyn Jones of Jasionville, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews.
A granddaughter, Jaclyn Elizabeth Jones; a sister, Shirley Willis; and a brother, Walter E. Glaze, Jr., predeceased her.
Services and interment will be private.
Arrangements are by the Myers-Durboraw Funeral in Westminster.
