Noble A. Testerman, age 85, of Taneytown, Maryland, died peacefully on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.
Born April 29, 1928 in Leesburg, Virginia, he was the son of the late Lester and Lacey Testerman.
He was the husband of 62 years to Patricia “Pat” (Boone) Testerman.
He was employed with Pfoutz Lumber, Shower Lumber, and Taney Stair Corp. He enjoyed fishing and painting.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughter, Carol Cheeks and husband Jeff of Taneytown; granddaughter, Lauren Cheeks; sister, Mary Ann Walter and husband John of Union Bridge; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Marshall “Reds” Testerman and Paul Testerman; sisters, Hazel Ray and Frances Shellhorse.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation or viewing. Graveside services will be private in Pipe Creek Cemetery near Linwood.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
Arrangements are by the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Taneytown.
