Nicole “Nikki” Michelle Hill, age 29, of Chincoteague, Va., formerly of Taneytown, Md., died unexpectedly Sunday, October 25, 2009 at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
Born July 11, 1980 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Pam and Denny Stambaugh of Chincoteague, Va; and step-daughter of Wayne and Brenda Little of Westminster, Md.
She was a 1999 graduate of Littlestown High School. Nikki enjoyed dancing, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving in addition to her parents and step-parents, are grandparents; George and Janet Hill of Manchester, Md., Larry and Shelbe Stambaugh of Keymar, Md., Fran and Herb Weller of Taneytown, Md.; great-grandmother, Ruth Black of Union Bridge, Md.; brother, Shane Stambaugh of Chincoteague, Va.; step-sister and step-brother, Jenna and Nolan Little of Westminster.
She was predeceased by grandparents, Edward “Eddie” and Marian Little.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, October 30, 2009 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St, Taneytown, with Pastor James L. Benedict officiating. Interment will follow in Keysville Union Cemetery in Keymar, Md. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
