Nathan W. Lucas, age 35 of Westminster died Sunday August 12, 2012 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore. He was born December 7, 1976 in Towson, the son of Allen and Susan Lucas of Westminster. He was a 1994 graduate of North Carroll High School. He was very artistic and worked as a fabricator in the welding business. He was a river guide and enjoyed kayaking, white water kayaking, rock climbing, and hunting. He was a free spirit who enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. Recently he was accepted to the flight school program at CCBC.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Lista Lucas of Pennsylvania; sister, Jessica Bullock of Westminster; brother, Audi Lucas of Germany; uncle and aunt, David and Jacinta Bush of Conawingo, MD.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 20, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and on Tuesday from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 3 pm at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster, MD. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to his daughter, may be made to the Lista Lucas Fund, P.O. Box 684, Westminster, MD 21158.
