Nancy Sanchez

Nancy Maldonado Sanchez, 44, of Westminster, MD died peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.  Born April 29, 1976  in Mexico City, she was the daughter of Francisca Sanchez Ovando and the late Ricardo Maldonado Garduno.  She was the wife of Juan Avad Velasquez Sanchez.

Nancy earned a bachelor’s degree in education and was a pre-kindergarten teacher.  She loved listening to music, going out, swimming, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, are her son, Cristopher; twin daughters, Britanni and Britny; brother, Ulises Maldonado; sister-in-law Araceli Velazquez, brother-in-law and godfather Cruz Velazquez, midwife Monica Gomez, and other extended family members.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, services are private.  A memorial mass will be announced at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster.
