Millard Lynwood "Dutch" "Mitty" Kibler

Millard Lynwood “Dutch” “Mitty” Kibler, 80, of Westminster, MD, died peacefully on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.  Born April 4, 1936 in Luray, Virginia, he was the son of the late Clarence M. and Dora Lee Wright Kibler.  He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Charlotte L. Shaffer Kibler.

Millard retired from Kibler Construction Company after 41+ years.  He formerly attended the Westminster Church of the Nazarene.  He enjoyed hunting and crabbing in his younger years, and collecting hats.  He was an avid Baltimore Orioles and Ravens fan.

Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Carl L. Kibler of Jefferson, PA, and Michael L. Kibler of Hanover, PA; daughters, Patricia L. Leonard and husband Chris of Littlestown, PA, and Wanda L. Phillips and husband Robert of Stephenville, TX; grandchildren, Toni Barsi and husband Anthony of Bristow, VA, Stacey Kibler of Littlestown, PA, Tyler Kibler of Hanover, PA, Morgan Keiner of Littlestown, PA, and Mylea Brooks of Littlestown, PA; great-grandchildren, Aurelia and Corbin Barsi; brothers, Clarence Kibler, Jr. and wife Rita of New Carlisle, OH, James Kibler of Lancaster, PA, Ralph Kibler of Dover, PA, Jane Wagner and husband Merle of New Oxford, PA, Lois Bartram and husband Ronnie of Spring Grove, PA, and Kenneth Kibler and wife Susan of Spring Grove, PA.

He was pre-deceased by daughter-in-law, Emma Kibler; brother, Gene Kibler; sister, Shirley Shaffer; niece, Kathy Shaffer; and nephew, Travce Wagner.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 3, 2016 at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis Street, Westminster, MD, with Pastor Patrick Roxby officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Westminster Church of the Nazarene, 147 Sullivan Road, Westminster, MD  21157.
