Mildred L. Davis, age 83, of Emmitsburg, formerly of Hanover, PA, died on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at St. Catherine’s Nursing Center in Emmitsburg.
Born January 6, 1928 near Wilkes-Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Grace (Prisk) Culp. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 46 years, Clarence L. Davis in 1990.
Mildred enjoyed reading, photography, needlework and traveling.
Surviving are children, Carl E. Davis of Gaithersburg, Todd L. Davis of Nevada, and Karen L. Davis of Gaithersburg; grandchildren, Jennifer E. Will, Chad J. and Steven J. Davis. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by a son, Gary S. Davis in 2008 and is the last of her immediate family.
A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Catherine’s Nursing Center, 331 S. Seton Ave., Emmitsburg, MD 21727.
