Michael Lee Mcdonald

Michael Lee McDonald, 80, of Sykesville, passed on Thursday, July 27, 2023, away surrounded by family at home. Born September 8, 1942, in Washington, D.C. he was the son of the late Chester Arthur McDonald and Dorothy Jean Koch. He was the loving husband to Christine W. McDonald, to whom he was married to for 21 years.

He worked as an automotive technician. He enjoyed golfing, camping in the mountains, racing and going to the races, and spending time with family.

Surviving in addition to his wife is son, Michael E. McDonald and wife Mila; daughters, Chrystie Camphouse and Chrysal O’Dell; grandchildren, Daniel, Tyler, Seth, Mikey, Anna, Elizabeth, and Chloe; great-grandchildren, Riley, Nani, and Ezra; siblings, Carol Snyder, Terry McDonald, and Jackie Stendahl; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 pm on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 91 Willis Street, Westminster, Maryland 21157, with a memorial service to follow at 5 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s name to BridgingLife Dove House Hospice, C/O Development Office, 200 Memorial Avenue, Westminster, Maryland 21157, or to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
