Michael G. Adamez, age 59, of Hampstead, Maryland, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born July 23, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Paul Joseph and Ruth (Lambert) Adamez.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Kathy Redding Adamez.
Mike worked as a mortgage loan officer with both Prosperity Mortgage and most recently with Embrace Home Loans.  He was well known around the office and at home as the “candy-man” for his jars full of candy available to all.  He was an avid local sports fan of the Ravens, Orioles, and Capitals; and enjoyed working on cars.  He was well known for his sense of humor, and care and devotion to his family.
Surviving him in addition to his wife are children, Rebekah Lewis, Brandon Adamez and fiancée Taylor Spencer, and Laura Adamez all of Hampstead; grandchildren, Kylie and Christopher Lewis and Paige Adamez; sister, Rosemary Hall of Grayson, Kentucky; brother, Paul Adamez and wife Barbara of Millersville.  He was predeceased by a grandson, Caleb Michael Lewis, brother, Charles Adamez, and by a brother-in-law, Jack Hall.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St. in Westminster, MD, and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Crosswind Church, 642 Lucabaugh Mill Rd. Westminster with Pastor David Sulcer officiating.  Interment will follow in the Carrollton Church of God Cemetery in Finksburg.
