MarySue Emma Duble Brauning, 89, of Taneytown Maryland passed away on March 30, 2025 at her home.
Born December 19, 1935, in Keysville, she was the daughter of the late Roy Edgar and Dora Elizabeth Devilbiss Duble. MarySue was the wife of Delbert Earl Brauning. They would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on April 15th.
MarySue was a graduate from Taneytown High School class of 1954, and was employed at the Cambridge Rubber Company for seven years. She was a member of the Keysville United Church of Christ where she grew up, a Sunday school teacher at the Taneytown Presbyterian Church, then moved her membership to the Taneytown Grace United Church of Christ, and was a member of the Eastern Star in Union Bridge. She loved raising her children and taking care of her grandchildren. She enjoyed doing different types of crafts, crochet, cross stitch, candy making, and baking. She enjoyed working in her flower beds and taking care of the different flowers that she grew. In the late 1980’s, she took an accounting class with her son to better understand bookkeeping.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are daughters, Susan M. Feltch and husband Brian, Teresa A. Rasche and husband John, and Brenda K. Storey and husband Brian; sons, Jeffrey P. Brauning, and Dale E. Brauning and wife Debra; grandchildren, Justin Rock and wife Vanessa, Travis Rock and wife Alicia, Trenton Rock and significant other Samantha Devilbiss, Mikayla Storey, Wesley Storey and fiancé Allie Mack, Faith Storey, George Shifflett, Benjamin Shifflet, and Todd Shifflett and significant other Kelsey Shank; and great grandchildren, Ellissa Rock, Chase Rock, Madison Shifflett, and Aubrey Shifflett.
MarySue was predeceased by sisters, Miriam Catherine Duble, and Ina Roberta Smith; and brother, William Edgar Duble.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025, 11:00 am, at Grace United Church of Christ, 49 W Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD 21787, with Internment to follow at Keysville Union Cemetery in Keymar. The family will receive friends Friday, April 4th, from 2:00-4:00 pm, and 6:00-8:00 pm, at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, P.A., 136 E Baltimore St., Taneytown.
