Mary Jane Warehime, 89, of Westminster, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Long View Nursing Home in Manchester. Born July 23, 1927 in New Windsor, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Rae Viola (Wagner) Selby. She was the wife of the late Amidee Leroy Warehime.
Mary Jane worked at the Westminster Shoe Factory for several years and later drove a bus for The ARC Carroll County, retiring in 1991 to watch her grandchildren. She was a member of Benjamin’s Krider’s UCC in Westminster.
Surviving are daughters, Sandra Kennedy and husband Robert of Westminster, Carol Fearns of Hampstead, Janice Morris and husband Carroll of Hampstead, Brenda Anderson of Hampstead, and Mary Mae Warehime of Hanover, PA; son, Allen Warehime and wife Crystal of TN; grandchildren, Joshua Anderson, Mark Kennedy, Colin and Caitlin Fearns, Stephanie and Amanda Hennessee, Matthew and Michael Colson; great-grandchildren, Kyle and Connor Kennedy and Peyton Kline; sister, Virginia Little of Arcadia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by sons-in-law, Tom Fearns and Malcolm Anderson; siblings, Sterling, Robert and Mollie Selby, and Margie Little.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis Street, Westminster with the Rev. Virgil Cain officiating. Burial will follow in Krider's UCC Cemetery in Westminster. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
