Mary Ellen Myers

On Monday August 7, 2023 Mary Ellen Myers of Springs, PA passed away at her home in Ellicott City, Maryland. She was the loving wife of the late David Upton Myers; they were married for 69 years.

Mary Ellen was a Registered Nurse for many years at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore and completed her training at Maryland General Hospital. She loved gardening, counted cross stitch and loved every one of her cats that she had over the years. Cooking delicious meals from scratch, interior decorating and putting together beautiful outfits were some of her very best talents and her family loved her creativity. Mary Ellen was a patriotic woman who admired the American flag as well as a full moon on a beautiful night.

Mary Ellen is survived by her two daughters Sue Ellen Polise (Lou) and Sally Ann Smith. She is also survived by her grandchildren Maria and Anthony (Kate) as well as her great-granddaughter Payla.

Family will receive friends at MYERS-DUBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 91 Willis Street, Westminster 21157 on Wednesday August 16th, 2023 at 12 PM where a Funeral Service will be held at 1PM. Interment to follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
