Mary Frances Wheat (nee Schoenberger), 85, of Reisterstown died Thursday evening, August 27, 2015 at Long View Nursing Home in Manchester.
Born September 21, 1929 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late William and Frances Schmidt Schoenberger.. She was the wife of the late Theodore Walter Wheat, who predeceased her in 1980.
She was a very active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glyndon. Frances is survived by her son, Thomas Wheat of Tulsa, OK; daughters, Nancy Haas of Rockville and Barbara Darsch of Hampstead; sisters, Helen Saulton and Mary Wagner; brother, Bill Schoenberger; grandchildren Aaron and Kevin Wheat and Brent and Blair Darsch; great grandchildren Kayden, MacKenzie, Cannon, and Caroline Wheat; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 21, 2015 in the Little Chapel of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glyndon, with Father Lloyd E. Aiken as celebrant.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Reisterstown, MD 21136.
