Mary Felicia Warfield, 86, of Emmitsburg died peacefully Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Gettysburg Hospital in Gettysburg, PA. Born August 5, 1927 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Felicia Stouffel Wilhide. She was the wife of the late Albert E. Warfield who died in 1994.
Mary was a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping, horseback riding, listening to bluegrass and country music, watching Dr. Oz on television, eating crabs and spending time with family. She was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens.
Surviving are daughters, Fran Selby and husband Joe of Westminster and Shirley Lohrfink and husband Chuck of Hampstead; son, Albert Warfield Jr. of Hampstead; grandchildren, Joseph Selby IV and wife Julie of Mt. Airy, Jamie Ireland and husband Vaughn of Westminster, Michael Selby of Westminster, Michael Neal and wife Lauren of Columbia, and Timothy Lohrfink of Hampstead; and great-grandchildren, Adam and Mya Selby, Carli Ireland, and Liam Neal.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, October 18 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St, Taneytown, MD with the Rev. Mr. Darrell Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
