Mary Willodene Sheets, age 73 of Finksburg died Monday April 11, 2011 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. She was born September 24, 1937 in Bridgewater, VA the daughter of the late French Ardell and Rosa Flick Fishback. She was the wife of the late John O. Sheets, Jr. who died in August 2006.
She is survived by her son, O. Ardell Sheets of Littlestown, PA and daughter and son-in-law, Lorie A. and John Blevins of Finksburg; brother, Arnold Fishback of Bridgewater, VA and sister, Arvetta Wean of Winfield, MD; grandchildren, Michael W. Ruch, Jr. and Megan N. Womer; great grandchildren, Caleb M. and Aiden C. Womer; also many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by siblings, Noland, Johnny, Leroy and Robert Fishback and Janice Fishel.
A funeral service will be held Friday, 11:00 A.M. at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster. Interment will follow in Lake view Memorial Park, Sykesville.
The family will receive friends Thursday, 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
