Mary Eleanor Pavek, died on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at St. Catherine’s Nursing Center in Emmitsburg. Born July 6, 1920 in Chicago, IL., she was the daughter of the late Bartholomew and Regina (Seliga) Moczarny. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry T. Pavek.
She worked for the government as a civil servant for 25 years, and was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Larry H. and Carol Y. Pavek of Emmitsburg. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marilyn Koontz and by brothers, Joseph and John and sisters, Josephine and Sophie.
Services will be private. Inurnment will be in Mary Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
