Mary Ann (Long) Leister

Mary Ann Leister, 94, of Westminster, Maryland died on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore.

Born October 31, 1925 in Westminster, Maryland she was the daughter of the late John Long Sr. and Caroline (Snyder) Long.  She was predeceased by her husband, William “Bill” McCaffrey Leister.

Mary was a registered nurse for most of her working career.  She was a devout Catholic and member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Manchester.

A private viewing for the family will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020.  A private Requiem Mass will follow at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Manchester, MD with Father Michael Roach as celebrant.  Burial will follow in Meadow Branch Cemetery in Westminster.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, P.O. Box 448, Manchester, MD  21102.
