Mary Christine Krug, age 76, of Taneytown, Maryland, died on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born May 22, 1934 in Emmitsburg, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John Samuel and Emma Elizabeth (Koontz) Stover. She was predeceased by her husband, Roland Donald Krug in 2008.
She worked in Cambridge Rubber Factory on the assembly line. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Taneytown and the Auxiliary of the Hesson Snyder Post 120 American Legion in Taneytown. Mary was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan and loved to play the MD and PA lottery.
Surviving are son, Michael K. Stover of Taneytown; granddaughter, Jennifer R. Keller and husband Dustin of Taneytown; great-grandchildren, Tristan Stover and Chase Keller; sister, Ruth Dayhoff of Frederick; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Cantwell and Cathleen Eyler.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, August 30, 2010 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 East Baltimore St., Taneytown with Pastors Josh and Rachel Semovoski co-officiating. Interment will follow in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Taneytown. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
