Mary “Margie” Margaret Fullam, age 74, of Taneytown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at the Dove House Carroll Hospice in Westminster, Maryland.
Born July 23, 1934 in Emmitsburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Roy Joseph and Helen Louise (Guise) Wivell.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Taneytown, and was retired from bookkeeping in 1996 with the Department of Social Services for the State of Maryland.
Surviving are children, Gloria Ontiveros of El Paso, Texas, Ronald Stevens and wife Viki of Fairfield, Pa, Mike Fullam of Swoyersville, Pa.; grandchildren, Michael and Jacob Ontiveros, Joshua, Jordan, and Jared Fullam, 11 brothers, 4 sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to her many caregivers at Carroll Hospital Center, Dove House Carroll Hospice, and Lorien Rehabilitation Center in Taneytown.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, on Friday, March 6, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 44 Frederick St., Taneytown, with Msgr. Martin E. Feild as celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Taneytown. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3-5 and 6-8 PM at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown, where a Rosary Prayer service will be held at 8:00 PM.
