Mary Elizabeth Duppins, age 86, of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Golden Living Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Westminster.
Born February 17, 1927 in Old Fields, Frederick County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William Andrew Duppins and Sarah May (Black) Duppins Duson.
She was a member of the Union Street United Methodist Church in Westminster and was a housekeeper.
Surviving her are caregivers and devoted friends, Dorothy Smith of Union Bridge and Ann Nivens of Westminster; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was predeceased by sisters, Agnes Summers and Catherine Duppins; brothers, Hugh, William, and James Duppins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will follow in the Mt. Joy Cemetery in Uniontown.
