Mary Louise Drechsler, age 88 of Westminster died August 27, 2012 at her home. She was born August 14, 1924 in Woodsboro, MD, daughter of the late Raymond Lee and Mary Josephine Cutshall Smith. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Drechsler, Jr. who died in 1999. Mary Louise grew up in St. John’s United Church of Christ in Woodsboro and was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Westminster. Her family owned and operated Rosebud Perfume Co. out of Woodsboro and was influential in Woodsboro's Bank History. She was devoted and loving to her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jo and John E. Zentz, Jr. of Finksburg; son and daughter-in-law, Victor E. and Anne S. Drechsler of Westminster; sister, Audrey L. Binkley of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, John E. Zentz III and wife, Megan, Jacob E. Zentz and wife, Olivia, T. Andrew Drechsler and Allie Drechsler; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by siblings, George W. Smith, Robert L. Smith and Jeanne Cutshall Smith. A private graveside service will be held in Westminster Cemetery.
