Mary Margaret Brown, 93, of Westminster, MD, died on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at the Carroll Lutheran Village Diven House Assisted Living.

Born November 5, 1926 in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Lillian May (Whitson) Dom.  She was predeceased by her husband Robert L. Brown in 2010.

Mary was a graduate of Ft. Hill High School in 1944 and Western Maryland College in 1948 with a B.A. in Teaching.  She was an elementary school teacher in Baltimore County for 25 years.  She was a member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church in Randallstown.  Mary was an avid reader and enjoyed playing tennis and bridge.  She was active in the Retired Teachers Association of Baltimore County.  Mary enjoyed the many friends she had while living at Carroll Lutheran Village.

Surviving are son, Robert “Bruce” Brown and wife Myra of Reisterstown; daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” J. Mattison and husband Kenny of Sykesville; grandchildren, Mark W. Brown, Rachael Listman and husband Aarron, Emily Mattison, Holly Smith and husband Spencer; great-grandchildren, Seraphina and Archer Listman; brother, Paul W. Dom of Cumberland.  She was predeceased by brothers, David R. and Jesse Roy Dom.

A Memorial Service to be held at Carroll Lutheran Village Krug Chapel will be announced at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME in Westminster.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Resident Assistance Fund at Carroll Lutheran Village, 300 St. Luke Circle, Westminster, MD  21158 (clvillage.org).
