Marlowe Rudolph Woodyard, Sr., age 59, of Frederick, Maryland, died on Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born April 8, 1953 in New Windsor, Maryland he was the son of the late David Elick Woodyard and Mamie Thelma (Warfield) Woodyard.
Surviving are children, Pamela Woodyard of Baltimore, Marlowe Woodyard, Jr. of Florida, La-Shawn Woodyard of Westminster, Carlos Hill of Germantown, Rajan Lynn, Michael Lynn, and Ryan Lynn of Williamsport, and Nyshea Palmer of Frederick; step-son, Antjaun Lynn of Williamsport; siblings, Anna Smith, Leona Jefferson, Barbara Moals, Ernestine Morris, Paulette Johnson, Edgar Woodyard, Curtis Woodyard, Kirdell Woodyard, Kristen Pettaway, Bruce Woodyard; 22 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by siblings, David Woodyard, Sr., and James Woodyard, Verla Woodyard.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Westminster United Methodist Church, 162 E. Main St., Westminster. Interment will follow in the Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery in Westminster. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster.
