Marjorie Jane (White) Jenkins

March 21, 1920 — October 16, 2014

Marjorie Jane Jenkins, 94, of Manchester, died early Thursday morning, October 16, 2014 at Carroll Hospice Dove House.
Born March 21, 1920 in Sacramento, California, she was the daughter of the late George J. and Hazel Jane (Johnson) White.
Marjorie was retired as an Account Clerk for the state of California before moving to Maryland.  She then volunteered for the North Carroll Senior Center and the Literacy Council in Westminster, doing clerical work.  She was a member of Hampstead Baptist Church.
Surviving is a daughter, Stephanie J. Dahlquist of Manchester; grandson, Christopher P. Taylor and his wife, Jackie and great-granddaughter, Lauren Jade Taylor.  She was pre-deceased by her son-in-law, Nils Dahlquist, and two sisters, Ethele Kendall and Lola Reed.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster, with Rev. Ann Schlossnagle officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 PM.
