Marilyn R. McGee, age 62, died unexpectedly on Friday, September 4, 2015. She was most recently living in New Haven, Connecticut.
She was born on July 27, 1953 in Hanover, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Richard C. and Lois (Woods) McGee. She worked in the hotel industry for many years, always enjoying meeting new people and sharing new stories. Marilyn had the “gift of gab” and made friends wherever she went. She loved animals, dancing, spending time at the beach and being surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by daughter, Kelly Barrick and husband, Curtis Ferree of New Haven, CT, sons, Brad Barrick of Fairfield, PA, and Seth Barrick and wife, Kate Scheer of Ft. Collins, CO; grandchildren, Jourden Hovendick, Jade Barrick, Heilan Barrick, Willa Barrick and River Barrick; sisters, Claudine Kuhn, Claudia McGee and Belinda Arigo.
Services and interment will be private.
