Marilyn K. Jennings

Marilyn K. Jennings, age 79 died peacefully at The Village of Luther Ridge in Chambersburg, PA, on Sunday, October 29, 2023. Born November 18, 1943, in Hoopston, IL, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lenora (Kerill) Jennings.

Marilyn was a lifetime member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Benton Harbor, MI. She worked in the banking industry as a teller until retiring in 2010.

Marilyn spent most of her life in Benton Harbor MI and moved often over the years after marrying her husband Ron, due to his career in the U.S. Navy.  She enjoyed many years with her husband traveling the world.   She spent most of her time after retirement volunteering and loved working in her yard, sewing and cross-stitching.

Marilyn is survived by a daughter, Kelly M. Snyder and husband Chuck of Emmitsburg MD; son, Kevin D. Jennings and his wife Jill of Parrish FL; grandchildren, Rachel and Braydon Jennings, Brandon and Payton Snyder, Conner and Brandon Trankina, sisters, Beverly Bachman of Benton Harbor, MI and Carolyn Bassett of Port Lucie, FL; brother-in-law Brad Jennings and wife Rosemarie and many nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Ronald D. Jennings after 44 years of marriage in April 2009.

A burial at sea with her husband, Ron will be held at a later date determined by the U.S. Navy.
