Margarette was a homemaker who loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and playing cards.
Surviving are daughters, Katherine Caples and husband Dennis of Littlestown, PA, and Gail Cole of Inwood, WV; sons, George Cole and wife Betsy of Gettysburg, PA, James Cole and wife Carol of Littlestown, PA, Charles Cole and wife Dr. Salome Hawkins-Cole of Westminster, John Cole and wife Belinda of Taneytown, Phil Cole and wife Melinda of Gettysburg, PA, Michael Cole and wife Jerrie of Taneytown, and Steven Cole of Hagerstown; sister, Edith Fick and husband Tom of Westminster; brothers, James Martin and wife Delores of Finksburg, William “Billy” Martin and wife Patty of Westminster, and Arthur Martin and wife Brenda of Martinsburg, WV; 25 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Marie Snyder, Katherine Morris, and Rosie Golden, and brothers, John, Jerry, Leo, and Bobby Martin.
