Margaret Mary Rouse, age 72 formerly of Westminster, died Monday August 24, 2009 in Glenville, PA. She was born April 7, 1937 in Baltimore, the daughter of the late William Joseph and Leona Wanner Dougherty. She was the wife of Thomas W. Rouse, Sr., her husband of 55 years. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and the Westminster Moose. She enjoyed puzzles and crocheting.
In addition to her husband she is survived by children, Thomas W. Jr. and wife Holly Rouse of Harrison, Ark., Dale E. Rouse of Gettysburg, PA, Kathy M. and husband Kenneth Hewitt of Glenville, PA, Steven W. and wife Theresa Rouse of Hanover, PA and Joseph W. Rouse of Hanover, PA; sisters, Patricia L. Myers of Owings Mills, MD, Rebecca l. Saunders of Finksburg, MD and Mary L. Maenner of Forest Hill, MD; also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday Sept 1st, 11:00 A.M. at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe Street, Westminster with Msgr. Arthur F. Valenzano as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills, MD.
The family will receive friends Monday August 31st, 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm
at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster, with a prayer service Monday evening 7:00 pm with Deacon Don Miller.
