Margaret Lindora Dull, 88, of Taneytown died peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Lorien Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taneytown. Born September 10, 1925 in Fairfield, PA she was the daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth Knox Overholtzer.
Margaret cooked at several different local restaurants over the years, most recently at Mountain Gate Family Restaurant in Thurmont. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a collector of cookbooks and John Wayne memorabilia.
Surviving are children, June Stonesifer and Terry Dull of Fairfield, PA, Tony Dull, Connie Few and husband James, Melissa Grimes and husband Barry, and Colleen Ott, all of Taneytown, Sharon Weddle and husband Gary of Duncannon, PA, Dennis Dull and wife Debbie of Littlestown, PA, and Rick Dull and companion Christine Caswell of Harney; 26 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by all of her siblings and by daughter, Cheryl Blake.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD with the Rev. Martin E. Feild officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Harney. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
