Margaret “Marge” Mary Bales, age 78 of Westminster died Wednesday January 23, 2013 at Carroll Hospital Center. She was born February 24, 1934 in Baltimore, daughter of the late Douglas and Josephine Spitz Nagel Haddaway. She served in the U.S. Air Force from June 1952 until October 1953. Margaret retired from the accounts receivable department at Random House in Westminster.
She is survived by her son, John H. Bales and wife Deborah of Wolcottville, IN; sisters, Anastasia Blasi and Catherine Connelly of Annapolis; grandchildren, Jill Marie and John William Bales; great-grandchildren, Macy, Kaydintz and Dalton.
The family will friends on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster. There will be no funeral services.
Inurnment will take place in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
