Madeline Agnes “Midge” Englar, age 101 of Westminster died Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Long View Nursing Home in Manchester. Born June 22, 1910 in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late John and Agnes Brown Keck. She was the wife of the late William J. Englar. She was self employed and worked as a housekeeper. Madeline enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening and listening to country music. She was a member of the Carroll County Homemakers Club.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley A. and Wayne L. Hatfield and granddaughter and husband, Robin E. and Jeffrey A. Sterner all of Westminster; nephew and his wife, John and Fran Keck of Westminster and nephew, David Keck of Southern, MD; also survived by several other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by siblings, Ivan Keck and Romaine Ibex.
Services and interment will be private.
