M. Gertrude Miller Lawrence, age 83 of Westminster died Tuesday December 20, 2011 at Lorien Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Taneytown, MD. She was born August 27, 1928 in Carroll County, MD daughter of the late Herbert and Grace Little Miller. She worked as a clerk/receptionist at Dr. Marvin Kasic’s optometrist office. She was a member of Westminster United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and her friends in the social room at Timber Ridge.
She is survived by her son, Charles Lawrence, Jr. of Hanover, PA; sister, Gladys Lee Beavans of Nottingham, MD; grandchildren, David and Sarah Lawrence of Hanover, PA.
She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Deborah E. Lawrence and brothers, Robert, Sterling and Lawrence Miller.
Services and interment will be private.
