Lucille Ann Clayland, age 78, of Taneytown, Maryland, died on Monday, April 20, 2009 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.
Born February 28, 1931 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Salvator P. and Theresa C. Brocato. She was the wife of 58 years to Samuel R. Clayland.
Surviving are children, Samuel R. Clayland, Jr., and wife Crystal of Ocean City, Sherrie A. Keeney of Westminster, Daniel E. Clayland of Ocean City, Gina M. Clayland of Westminster, and William D. Clayland of Westminster; grandchildren, Jacqueline O’Brien, Stanley Keeney, Jr., Kevin Clayland, Paige Clayland, and Kasey Clayland; great-grandchildren, Lukas and Alexis O’Brien.
A Prayer Service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, April 24, 2009 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD, with Msgr. Martin E. Feild officiating. Interment will be private in Grace U.C.C. Cemetery in Taneytown. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, and on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
